This was for a show based on an Ainu Story for the Yuki Matsuri 2020 in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
My role was to create the content, concept art + overall art direction, of the show that was to be displayed on the snow sculpture created by the client. I worked closely with the show director on the storyboards and animatic with music. As this was small scale project we were composed of a small team, I created a few assets used in the final show. We had to work with a v01 of the snow sculpture, the final sculpture looks different however the final content remained the same. It was interesting to think about how digital content would play out on snow.
